Love Does Not Exist!

I know I know…

WTF Salkis! You’re just a bitter Dark skin woman who’s been beaten down by life and you want to bring every else down with you! Blah blah blah…..

HaHa! I can hear you through the computer screen..

But it’s true..

You can be accommodating.

You can be attractive.

You can be selfless.

You can be Beautiful.

And love… can/will/does flutter away….

Why is it so hard to love?

Because LOVE is a fool game!

It for the ignorant people who are first getting to know each other.

The excitement of the first kiss.

The discovery of hidden talents.

The wonderment around not knowing what a person is capable of..

That is LOVE in a nutshell!

Love is infatuation.

Love happens when you DO NOT KNOW A PERSON.

Why?

Because its your imaginings of them that seduce you into having feelings of clinginess and attachment.

Then once you get to know them. And you realize that they are not as perfect as you imagined..

The LOVE for them goes away..

And you are left with reality..

The reality that they have perversions and dirty habits and that they are not as self assured and all knowing as you perceived them to be..

You see them get frustrated and doubtful when paying bills or interacting with others..

Reality crushes the illusion/LOVE and what was an escape at the beginning of the relationship is now a sink hole pulling you into the miasma of everyday life.

BORING..

Boredom kills love.

And boredom is inevitable as you become familiar with another person.

So prepare to be dissapointed.

Prepare to be turned off.

Prepare for them scorn you when they sell your first Bowel Movement because you mistakenly didn’t flush to toilet before you left the bathroom..

Prepare for what relationship really are: a journey in forgiveness and understanding of someone who gets on your nerves most of the time..
